I just bought my first hybrid about two months ago. I knew little about the vehicle, but the guys at my local used car lot had SO much information. Randy Adams, Inc., in New Braunfels, TX is where I got the vehicle, if you're in the market for one.
I'm saving gas money AND the environment, and I couldn't be happier! I highly recommend it to anyone who is in the market for a used car. Thanks for all the great posts! |

I am old guy that is willing to move into the future and avoid this huge oil dependency that the whole nation is stuck.
Thank goodness that a couple of auto companies had a vision a few years ago and brought into life the Hybrid which I feel is only in the infancy stage. My wife and I are debating between the Toyota Prius or Highlander Hybrid. |

I'm shopping for a new Hybird at this moment. It appears there is quite a waiting list for hybrids in my area (Baltimore)
Question: Is it a misconception that some 4 cylinder's will get better highway mileage than a Hybirds? (i.e because of the weight.) I've read article that go both ways. Just need to know before I buy. Thx Bill |

It is a matter of how you drive the car. There was another test that C&D did, i think, and it showed that a Z06 vette got better mpgs during highway driving than a Prius.
