Why I'm happy I've got a hybrid

While I used to be very anti hybrid, the reasons were mostly because the cars were tiny and ugly (Prius, Civic) or not really effective (old malibu and similar). I replaced a five speed Jetta TDI with the Malibu.
This morning I was stuck in stop and slow traffic for over an hour and a half to go 20 miles to a meeting.
I took that picture while in park on the freeway after texting (via Apple Car Play) that I would be a little late.
I thought of how comfortable I was listening to my podcast while having a heated seat and not shifting and using the clutch constantly.
Nice!
